Palak Darji is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She has experience working with individuals experiencing musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, sports injuries, postural concerns, pelvic health conditions, and age-related mobility challenges.
Palak believes that understanding how a person moves is an important part of recovery. Her assessments focus on movement patterns, posture, strength, and mobility to help identify factors that may be contributing to pain and functional limitations. Based on these findings, she develops individualized treatment plans that may include exercise prescription, patient education, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and activity modifications.
She is trained in dry needling, which can be used to address muscle tension and pain, and pelvic floor assessment and rehabilitation for concerns such as pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and pregnancy or postpartum-related conditions.
Palak enjoys working closely with her patients to help them improve their function, return to their daily activities, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
